Being organized feels good. Knowing that each little organization win helps feed the hungry—feels better.

What We're Doing

We enjoy spreading good vibes with our organization products, but recognize that many people struggle with much larger issues at home, such as hunger. From November 19th to December 31st, YouCopia is tripling our contribution to The Greater Chicago Food Depository!  We'll donate three meals for every new follower gained and item purchased, with a goal to donate up to 20K meals by the end of the year. Why Hunger?

We're focusing on alleviating hunger because it's become so much worse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unemployment has soared and food insecurity is on the rise.

A few more facts

· Food insecurity in the U.S. has more than doubled as a result of the economic crisis brought on by the outbreak, hitting as many as 23% of households.

· 27.5% of households, including 13.9 million children, don't have access to affordable and nutritious food that can help them thrive in school and live healthy lives.

· Black and Hispanic children are twice as likely to not have enough nutritious food to eat.

· Every community in the country is home to families who struggle with food insecurity, including rural and suburban communities.

· People who are food insecure are disproportionally affected by diet-sensitive chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
